To install a FasTrak Flex Switchable transponder (for the carpool discount), clean the mounting area inside the windshield with glass cleaner and let it dry. Peel off the backing and stick the transponder in place, smoothing it flat. Position the transponder in the center of the headlight, three inches from the bottom of the metal reflective layer. To install an exterior mounted sticker transponder (if you have a motorcycle or a vehicle with a metal oxide windshield): clean your headlight with glass cleaner and let it dry. Attach the sticker by peeling the backing and sticking it to the windshield, smoothing the sticker flat.
