We could easily get local leagues to have their banquet parties there. What I do think though, is in this area - if he were to make the best tables in a 20 square mile radius more reasonably priced he would - he without a doubt, would bring in more patrons to spend money and play pool. I didn't realize that was our (the regulars) job to make his employees money and to bring more business in. But the bar tenders do." and blamed regulars walking out because he treated them like dog shit. I could tell you about the time he said, "I'm a millionaire. The others because they couldn't afford to play out of his bar anymore. One because a Captain's wife got pregnant and the moved to a non-smoking venue. About how he was going to buy a billboard to shame our local APA League Operator because 2 teams walked out on his bar. All because of a knee jerk reaction from a RUMOR that he "heard through the grapevine". I could tell you about how the he has literally made harmful threats to regulars that were patrons of his bar for 15+ years. And there's plenty of public record, online reviews of other businesses he owns, and such documentation online. About how he fucked people over in Fredonia, NY - Tampa, FL - and Sarasota, FL. The owner made several "promises" only to basically tell all the shooters in this area to fuck off. The deal is, I live in an area that has a strong number of pool shooters, but a severe lack in pool tables that are even remotely worthy of playing on. Sorry if you thought the intent was to "use you". I could really use some help proving a point here: Which it makes them the most expensive pool tables in my town. What is the most you would be willing to pay to play on a Diamond Pro-Am table BAR BOX?įor me, that's like paying over $15+ per hour to play on them. To me, he's effectively shunning every "pool shooter" pricing them that high. He's priced the tables at $2.00 PER GAME.

He promised he would be getting Black Diamond Pool tables and that they would be affordable.

The bar was sold to a new owner who has basically run out all the "regulars" and "pool shooters" out of the building.

My local bar that I have been a regular at for several years and spent the last 5 1/2 years playing out of on league nights has had FREE pool for the last 20 something years. Please help spread the word by sharing (this Facebook poll). TL DR - New Bar owner replaced Valley tables that were free to play with Black Diamond Pro-Am tables $2.00 PER GAME. Guess the retired and homeless can take advantage. That's a start, but not for the working folks. The bar now has free pool every day from 10AM - 5PM.
